What Does the Dental Care Plan Cover?
The SNI Dental plan is broken into different classes, depending on the type of service you need. Here’s a simple breakdown:
Class 1: Diagnostic and Preventive Care

- Exams (checking your teeth)
- X-rays (pictures of your teeth)
- Cleanings & fluoride treatments (to keep your teeth clean and strong)

- Sealants (to protect your child’s teeth) for kids 15 and under (once per tooth every 3 years)
Class 2: Basic Services for Dental Care

Maximums and Deductibles with this Dental Care Plan
There are limits and costs to know about:
Deductibles
- Each person has a $50 deductible (this doesn’t apply to Class 1 or orthodontics).
- Families have a $150 deductible (also excluding Class 1 and orthodontics).
Coverage Maximums
- Each person can get up to $1,500 in coverage per year for all services except Class 1 and orthodontics.
- Orthodontic treatments for your child have a lifetime coverage maximum of $1,500.
