Devices and Crypto Mining Levels
These devices are already available, and they’re set to change the way you think about health and cryptocurrency. When you wear one, the data your device collects goes into a Data NFT. There are different levels of data mining, which means the more often your device collects data, the more crypto you can earn. Here’s a breakdown of the different NFT levels:
As you wear your watch, the data you collect ends up in a Data NFT, which is totally yours. It is your data, and you own it. The rate at which you collect data/mine crypto depends on the level of the Data NFT. Currently, there are five levels. The main difference is the frequency that the data is collected, which then impacts the amount of crypto that you can earn as a reward.
- Basic – the device collects health data every 6 hours. This is the default level when just purchasing a device, and is available after the Founder’s phase.
- Level 1 – collects health data every 3 hours.
- Level 2 – this collects health data every 3 hours.
- Level 3 – at this level, your device collects health data every 30 minutes.
- Level 4 – at this level, your device collects health data every 30 minutes.
The device uses something called “Proof of Sensing.” This means the sensors inside the device track your heartbeat and health data, which is then stored securely on the blockchain. Pretty cool, right?
How Much Does It Cost?
To get started, you’ll need something called a Data NFT Stake. What is that? It’s a special kind of NFT that lets you mine crypto using your VSC-compatible wearable device. There are different levels you can choose from, ranging from Basic to Level 4.
To activate one of these levels, you’ll need to stake, or invest, a certain amount of $VSC (the cryptocurrency) into your Data NFT Stake for 12 months. If you take out the staked amount, your NFT will become inactive, meaning it won’t mine crypto anymore. To keep your NFT active at the level you want, you’ll need to keep the required amount of $VSC staked inside it.
