Moscato Pineapple Whip

So, I am an Ice Cream lover all year round! When looking for fun desserts to make, I do not ALWAYS go for Chocolate first. I LOVE fruity flavors. This Moscato Pineapple Whip came to my attention and I immediately thought how amazing it would be paired with the Discoveries Moscato.

I am also a warm weather girl and I love to have fun in the SUN! Give me a Beach or Lake vacation any day over a cold weather vacation. So I tend to gravitate my desserts that way as well. This fun concoction reminds me A LOT of the “Orange Julius” from the malls. Which, by the way, is still there in most malls, believe it or not. And I think you could probably substitute the pineapple for orange slices (seeded of course) and get the true orange flavor.

Ingredients of Moscato Pineapple Whip

Moscato Pineapple Whip
  • 2 Big Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 3 Cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Moscato
  • Juice of 1/2 of a lime

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender bowl
  • Blend until smooth
  • Spoon or pipe into a dessert dish
  • Top with Pineapple and other Fresh Fruit

Now you have a beautiful and refreshing dessert! It can also double as a cocktail since it is has the Moscato actually IN the ingredients!

This was fun for me to make as it was new to me AND I got to buy a NEW blender! My old blender/food processor was a wedding present and we used it until it fell apart….we’ve been married for 28 years. I think I threw it out in 2021. Whoever, gave that to us…Thanks, you got your money’s worth!!!!! That was an amazing wedding gift!!!

Cooking Show

This recipe was featured on our former Wine and Dine Show on February 1, 2023. It is made and paired with a Fine Napa Wine! I find I am learning to cook more and more with our wines versus the normal “cooking wine” you find in the grocery stores aisles. Have you ever actually smelled and/or tasted it? Kinda gross, if you ask me. So, I figure, if I wouldn’t drink it, why would I want it in my food? Therefore, ONLY the Good Stuff for my recipes!
